Our expansive 300-yard driving range provides ample space for you to practice your long drives, while our large putting green and short game area allow you to hone your precision and finesse. Jack Frances - Director of Golf
Former Head Professional at North Middlesex Golf Club, brings a wealth of experience in managing retail and custom fitting. Now running the professional shop, he is dedicated to excellent customer service. Jack is also ready to enhance members' golf games with the latest in technology, including the Foresight QUAD Launch Monitor and CAPTO Putting Software, available for both lessons and club fitting.

Daniel Edwards - PGA Professional
Daniel is a dedicated golf professional and custom fitter who is open-minded and approachable, passionate about providing an exceptional and enjoyable golfing experience. Utilising the latest equipment from Foresight, Hack Motion, Di Wiz, and 3D technology, offering personalised coaching tailored to each golfer, aiming to enhance their performance and create a uniquely fulfilling golf experience.

Michael Moore - PGA Professional
Graduated in 2010 with a BSc Honors Degree in Sports Management and Psychology via the US Collegiate System. Subsequent to this he looked to become a tournament professional with the ultimate goal of competing on the European Tour. Mike has had some success on smaller tours in the UK but regrettably did not reach his lifelong goal of playing amongst the very best, but focused instead on studying the game, giving him a platform to guide like-minded people to a realistic path to reach their goals. Michael is now heading up the very successful HWGC Juniors programme.

Paul Foster - PGA Professional
Paul has built a reputation as one of North London’s finest coaches. Paul helped to develop the Unlimited Golf Academy at Hadley Wood, where his clarity of explanation and patient demeanour has brought many into the game.

Alastair Archibald - PGA Professional
Alastair Archibald, a PGA Professional with three decades of golf coaching experience, has a rich background in the sport, highlighted by his participation in the 2022 British Senior Open at Gleneagles. Specialising in chipping, Alastair emphasises the importance of these short shots, comparing them to simple tasks like tapping a nail or throwing a ball.
He also uses Trackman technology for precise shot analysis, offering services such as Gap Testing for exact carry yardages and driver distance optimisation. Whether enhancing finesse or power, Alastair's expertise helps students reach their full potential on the course.
LAdies Taster Sessions
Even though summer season has ended, it doesn’t mean golf comes to an end. In fact, the autumn and winter seasons can be the best time for learning the game. Hadley Wood’s Ladies Taster Series is the perfect vehicle for women to both get introduced to golf and meet and socialise with like-minded, supportive Ladies members.
During the spring and summer, more than 20 women enthusiastically joined the Ladies Taster Series and began playing on one of North London’s best golf courses, taking advantage of some free golf-improvement sessions offered by our teaching professionals, and taking part in various social events organised by Ladies members.
Many of the participants went on to join our Ladies Academy programme, a pathway for complete beginners to become full members of the golf club over a period of 2 years or less. (More details are found in the Ladies section of the website).
The success of the Ladies Taster Series has now been extended over the autumn and winter, when participants can look forward to not only outdoor lessons, but also take advantage of Hadley Wood’s newly relaunched indoor Swing Studio, where individual attention can be paid to a player's swing, ball contact and body mechanics.
Whether outdoors or indoors, the Ladies Taster series offers a great opportunity for beginners to start improving their game, find professionals eager to help in their progress, and engage socially with dozens of Ladies members.
So, when spring and summer 2025 rolls around, you’ll have got a head start on being ready for an active golfing season!
