In 2025 Hadley Wood will be hosting 14 x 9-hole Order of Merit events and two Playoff Series events.
Entry Fee: £1 (towards the prize fund of a 'Two's competition')
The competition will be run over the following tees: Gold, Purple, Green, Burgundy and Blue tees.
(Those playing off the tees set aside for Bronze and Silver competitors can play in the competition, but their scores will not be counted towards the OOM. They will, however, be used for qualification purposes to move up the tee system to Gold or Purple.
The top points achieved from the first 14 OOM events will count towards qualification for the Playoff Series to be held on 27th August and 30th August 2025. The top 24 players will qualify for the Playoff Series.
If a player shoots a gross of 50 from their designated tee position, they will automatically be promoted to the next tee up.
OOM Event Point Allocation: 1st = 500 points, 2nd = 300 points, 3rd = 175 points, 4th = 100 points, 5th = 75 points, 6th = 50 points, 7th and below = 25 points.
In the unfortunate circumstance an OOM event cannot go ahead, 25 points will be awarded to every player signed up by 12pm the previous day. There will not be a reschedule.
A 'Two's competition' will run alongside every OOM event. Any player who makes a gross 2 on a hole will win a share of the prize money (sum of the entry fees). Each 2 is worth a share, so if a player makes multiple 2s, they win multiple shares. If no one makes a 2 on the event, the prize money will continually rollover to the next event and so forth.
A 18-hole Stableford competition to be played off the Gold, Purple, Green, Burgundy and Blue tees.
