Par 5, 500 Yards
Two lengthy holes now come in succession. Recently lengthened to 500 yards from the Blue tees, and a still-formidable 429 yards off the Purple, the correct strategy for this dogleg right 13th hole is positioning the ball on the left-centre of its rollercoaster fairway. The approach is sharply downhill into a steeply sloping green protected by bunkers and a ditch running to the left and right, just short of the green. The hole is further toughened by an uphill drive that must contend with out-of-bounds on left and right, together with a bunker creeping into the fairway on the right.
